Web Traffic Generator

Sustained load testing across a URL list.

Crawl your own site at scale, rotate user agents, warm up the cache.

Feed Web Traffic Generator a list of URLs from your own site. It walks them in a configurable loop, rotating user-agent strings as it goes, until you tell it to stop. Use it to warm a CDN cache, drive synthetic analytics traffic into staging, or verify that response times stay flat under sustained load.

What it does

Paste a list of URLs (one per line, or import from a text file). Set the loop count and delay between requests. Optionally enable user-agent rotation from a built-in list of common browsers. Start the loop. The program issues each URL in sequence, sleeps the configured delay, and repeats.

Legitimate uses

This tool generates real HTTP traffic. Use it against sites you control or have explicit permission to test:

  • Warming a CDN cache after a deploy
  • Generating synthetic analytics traffic into a staging environment
  • Sustained-load testing to find memory leaks or slow responses
  • Verifying load-balancer behaviour over a long session
  • Testing logging pipelines under realistic request volume

Features

  • URL list input (paste or import from file)
  • Configurable loop count and inter-request delay
  • Built-in user-agent rotation pool
  • Response code and timing log
  • Portable, no installer

System requirements

  • Windows 7, 8, 10, 11
