Email Address Validator

Bulk-verify email addresses before you send.

Strip the dead, malformed, and disposable addresses from your contact list. Lower bounce rates, higher deliverability.

Email Address Validator takes a list of email addresses (your existing customer database, newsletter signups, contact list) and verifies each one without actually sending mail. Syntactic check, domain MX-record lookup, optional per-mailbox SMTP probe.

What it does

For each address in your list the tool performs up to three increasingly strict checks:

  1. Syntax — is user@domain.tld well-formed?
  2. MX lookup — does the domain have a mail server configured?
  3. Mailbox probe (optional) — can we open an SMTP conversation up to RCPT TO without actually sending? A clean rejection here means the address probably doesn't exist.

What this tool is NOT

This is a validator, not a harvester. It does not scrape websites for new email addresses. It does not send bulk mail. It does not bypass spam filters. Its job is to clean a list you already have before you send legitimate, opt-in mail to it.

Why bother validating?

  • Lower hard-bounce rates — mailbox providers penalise senders with high bounces
  • Better deliverability — a clean list keeps you out of spam traps
  • Smaller send costs — transactional providers charge per attempt, not per delivery
  • Cleaner reporting — bounces stop dirtying your open-rate metrics
  • Compliance — GDPR and similar regimes require you to keep accurate data
