Geolocate an IP address to country and city.
Paste an IP, see roughly where it is. Useful for log triage and abuse triage.
Paste any IPv4 or IPv6 address and IP Locator returns the country, region, and city the IP is registered to — using public geo-IP databases. The classic "this connection came from where?" question, answered in a second.
Enter an IP. The tool queries a geo-IP service and shows the country, region, city, and approximate coordinates the IP is associated with. Useful when reviewing server logs, triaging abuse reports, or simply wondering where a connection came from.
Geo-IP databases give the IP's registered location, not the actual physical location of the user. A user on a VPN, mobile network, or corporate proxy will appear at the proxy's location, not their own. Treat the result as a hint, not an identification.
