'THE RIGHT' is the application that will restore your right to share files (movies, music, software, books, code) over the Internet. Everything must be free on the Internet. Is your right to listen music and to read a good book.
Why is not safe to download with Kazaa, DC++, eMule...?
Because those programs connect to a server than the server redirects you to a totally unknown person in the internet from where you download the file (music, movies). This person might be a RIAA spy.
Why is THE RIGHT safe?
Because it connects only to your friends. No other person will know what you transfer. EVER! Therefore, this way of sharing files is 100.1% safe.
Project status
The program is in alpha stage, under heavy development. I need your help to make it work.
How can you help me?
Help me to test it. In order to make it work I need to actively connect to a person who have this program and to transfer a test file.
Steps:
1. Download the file from here (when available) and install it in your computer.
2. Contact me on the Yahoo messenger and tell me your IP. If you do not know your IP, please visit this page.
3. Share one singe file. I will try to download that file. If it works, we can go to the next step.
Please contact me even if no program is available for download. I will add you to my beta testers data base and I will ask your help when need it.
