While playing the Call of Cthulhu-Dark corners of the Earth game I have found that some areas are ridiculous difficult so I started to look for cheats. Well the bad news is that the Call of Cthulhu game was not designed to accept cheats. So I started to look for a trainer. Well, as neither a trainer was available on the whole Internet so I decided to hack this game by myself. This is the single full patched game existent on the web! The Call of Cthulhu patch was tested and works perfectly without any flaws. Download this patch and enjoy the game which is now more easy to play. I have added lots of "improvements" but most of them are small so it won't ruin the pleasure of the game. For example I have made the character to walk and run faster but not more than ~15% extra speed was added.
So, What is different in this patched version? Oh boy... Lots of cool stuffs, game improvements and cheats are added in this patched version. -walk, jump and run speed is faster
After many many requests for a "God-mode" patch, I have decided to re-open the binary file and hack into it again. So, the God-mode cheat is available now. Many other improvements have been added to this GOD-mode patch also. |
1. download the RAR archive (0.8 MB)
2.
extract the content of the archive (the patched EXE file).
3. make a backup of your original file (just in case)
4. replace the original file located in 'c:\Games\Cthulhu\Engine\CoCMainWin32.exe' with the patched file you have just extracted
5. run the game and enjoy it
Other hints:
How to save some disk space? You can delete those files in order to save HDD space:
c:\Game\Cthulhu\Installers\Codecs\WM9Codecs.exe
c:\Game\Cthulhu\Installers\DirectX
Removed intro movies:
The following patch will remove the intro video the bores you every time you start the game. Just replace your original files with these ones. Also you will save allot of space.
About the game:
If you didn't played the game until now I suggest to try it. The graphic is very poor and outdated with really really poor textures. But the game play and atmosphere is absolutely great! The sound is also absolutely great.
